PANTARIS: A Collaborative
Cloud Service Platform

A multi-sided platform designed to connect service customers and providers, enabling efficient development and use of cloud services. Service customers can manage subscriptions, collaborate via organizations and workspaces, and access purchased services. On the provider side, the platform’s Creator tool facilitates product development, listing, version control, API monitoring, subscription management, and billing.
My primary focus was on optimizing the Creator experience, addressing the needs of both technical and management-oriented users. This included conducting user research, enhancing end-to-end user journeys, and testing new features to ensure usability and relevance.

Take a look at PANTARIS

My Role

As part of the PANTARIS team, I played a key role in creating intuitive workflows for technical users, such as API developers, and management users responsible for subscription and product management. My contributions included:

  • Conducting user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights into user needs and challenges.
  • Designing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and comprehensive UX concepts to improve functionality and usability.
  • Testing and iterating designs based on user feedback and presenting results to customers, teams, and stakeholders.

Custom Component
Development

During a transitional phase without a style guide, I designed and implemented responsive UI components as f.e. dashboard tiles that displayed key information flexibly across devices. These components set a new standard for consistency and adaptability within the platform.

Redesigning Organization and Project Navigation

I developed a comprehensive UX concept to simplify navigation between organizations and their associated projects. By introducing a clear hierarchical structure and intuitive user guidance, I enhanced the platform's usability, reducing complexity for users.

Research in Action

User research was a cornerstone of our design process, ensuring that the platform addressed real user needs and avoided purely technical solutions. Each cycle began with defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear objectives, often in the form of a “research question.”

We relied on a broad spectrum of quantitative and qualitative methods, to validate whether we were solving the right problems in the right way.

Iterative conceptual work, developed in collaboration with users, was continuously refined and tested to ensure its effectiveness.

This process not only improved the platform’s usability but also fostered strong alignment between user needs and business goals.
